Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 1st September 2026 (v02)
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of myownsecure.space.
Please read them before activating or using the service.
1. Service provider
myownsecure.space is provided by:
CONNEXT L.T.D.
str. Dunav no. 35
Sofia, p.c. 1000
Bulgaria
General contact: info@myownsecure.space
Support: support@myownsecure.space
In these Terms, “CONNEXT”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the service provider. “You” and “user” mean the person using myownsecure.space.
2. About myownsecure.space
myownsecure.space is a consumer cloud service providing a private digital space for storage, productivity, scheduling and communication.
Depending on the available functionality, you can use the service to:
- store documents, photos, videos and other files;
- create and edit documents;
- manage a calendar;
- synchronize files and calendar information with supported devices;
- communicate through chat and calls;
- share access to chats and calls through links; and
- access your data through the web and supported mobile or desktop applications.
Available functionality may change over time in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
3. Who may use the service
The service is intended for public users.
CONNEXT does not impose a separate minimum age for using the service. However, if the law applicable to you limits your ability to enter into contracts or requires the involvement of a parent, guardian or other legal representative, those requirements still apply.
You must use the service only in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
4. Buying a coupon
Access to the service is purchased through physical retail shops.
Retail shops act as resellers. The service itself is provided by CONNEXT, and your agreement for use of myownsecure.space is with CONNEXT.
The myownsecure.space website is informational and does not sell coupons directly.
Prices, taxes, invoices, payment arrangements and other retail-sale conditions are determined outside these Terms and may be governed by the terms of the retailer from which you buy the coupon.
Nothing in these Terms affects any mandatory consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
5. Coupon credentials and first login
Each coupon contains a protected scratch-off area containing:
- a user ID; and
- an initial password.
You need these credentials for your first login.
Keep your coupon and its credentials secure. Before activation, anyone who obtains valid coupon credentials may be able to use them to activate the associated service.
During your first login, you will be required to create a new personal password.
Once your personal password has been created, you should use that password for future access.
6. Optional account information
You are not required to provide your real name or other identity information to use the service.
You may choose to add:
- an email address;
- a full name;
- a status message; and
- a profile picture.
These fields are optional.
If you add an email address, you may use it as a login name instead of your coupon user ID. The email address may also be used for password reset and for important service or legal notices where appropriate.
7. Password recovery
If you provide an email address, the available password-reset function may be used to recover access to your account.
If you do not provide an email address and you lose or forget your password, there is no manual account-recovery procedure.
CONNEXT support cannot manually identify you as the account holder or override this recovery model.
You are therefore responsible for keeping your password and any other authentication information secure.
8. Two-factor authentication
You may enable two-factor authentication for additional account protection.
The available method includes TOTP authentication. You may also generate backup codes.
If you use two-factor authentication, you should keep your backup codes in a secure place separate from your account credentials.
Because there is no manual account-recovery procedure, loss of the required authentication information may prevent you from accessing your account.
9. Storage plans and service period
Coupons are available in storage variants that may include:
- 500 GB
- 1 TB
- 2 TB
A coupon normally provides a one-year service period for the storage level associated with that coupon.
Your available storage and remaining service period are shown within your account.
10. Extending the service or changing storage
Existing users can apply another coupon to extend their service and/or change their storage level.
To do this:
- Buy a new coupon for the storage level you want.
- Log in to your existing account.
- Open “Extend account →” from your dashboard.
- Enter the user ID and password printed on the new coupon.
- Review the proposed storage capacity and resulting validity period.
- Confirm the change.
The account is updated when you confirm the extension. The new coupon is then redeemed and cannot be used again.
Changing to a larger storage level
If the new coupon provides a larger storage level, your storage capacity is increased immediately to that level.
Any unused service period on the existing account is recalculated proportionally for the larger storage level. This normally means that the remaining period becomes shorter.
Changing to a smaller storage level
If the new coupon provides a smaller storage level, the storage capacity is adjusted to the new level and the unused service period is recalculated proportionally. This normally means that the remaining period becomes longer.
Before you confirm any change, the service will show the resulting storage capacity and validity period.
You should review these details carefully. Once confirmed, the coupon is redeemed and the change takes effect.
11. Your use of the service
You may use myownsecure.space for lawful personal purposes.
You must not use the service to store, create, upload, transmit or share material, or carry out activity, that violates applicable law.
You are responsible for:
- the data and content you place in your account;
- ensuring that you have the necessary rights to store or share that content;
- the people with whom you choose to share content or communication links;
- protecting your login credentials;
- keeping your contact information accurate if you choose to provide it; and
- maintaining your own backup copies.
You must not use the service to interfere with its operation, compromise its security or attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts.
12. Your content
You retain your rights in content that you store or create using the service.
CONNEXT does not acquire ownership of your files, documents, photographs, videos, messages or other user content merely because you use myownsecure.space.
You give CONNEXT only the limited permission necessary to store, process, transmit and otherwise handle your content as required to provide and operate the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content and your use of it comply with applicable law and do not unlawfully infringe the rights of another person.
13. Sharing, chat and calls
The service allows communication through chat and calls.
Where the service provides a sharing or invitation link, you may provide that link to other people.
You are responsible for deciding whom you share a link with. A person who receives a valid link may be able to access the communication or resource associated with it according to the permissions provided by the service.
Take care when forwarding or publishing links.
14. Your backup responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining a separate backup of all data that is important to you.
myownsecure.space should not be treated as the only copy of important documents, photographs, videos or other information.
CONNEXT does not provide a backup service for user data. There are no separate provider backups from which deleted user content can be restored.
To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory law, CONNEXT does not accept contractual responsibility for compensating or restoring user data that is lost, corrupted or deleted.
15. Exporting and deleting your data
You may export your data using the functions provided by the service.
You may also delete your data.
When you delete content, it is normally moved to the service’s recycle bin or trash for 30 days.
You may manually delete content from the recycle bin or trash before the 30-day period ends.
Because CONNEXT does not maintain separate backups of user data, content removed from active storage and from the recycle bin or trash cannot be restored from a provider backup.
16. Service availability and maintenance
CONNEXT aims to provide reliable access to myownsecure.space, but continuous or uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The service may occasionally be unavailable or affected by:
- scheduled or emergency maintenance;
- security work;
- software or infrastructure faults;
- network or connectivity problems;
- events outside CONNEXT’s reasonable control; or
- measures required by law or by a competent authority.
Where reasonably possible, CONNEXT will seek to keep disruption proportionate to what is necessary.
Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights concerning the proper supply and conformity of a digital service.
17. Support
Support is available through:
support@myownsecure.space
and through the available web support / contact form.
When contacting support, you may be asked to provide information reasonably needed to understand the problem. This may include your user ID, screenshots, coupon information or other troubleshooting details.
Do not send passwords, TOTP codes or backup codes to support.
Support does not provide manual password recovery where no recovery method is available for the account.
18. Official requests and restrictions
Users must comply with applicable law.
Under CONNEXT’s current account-enforcement model, CONNEXT does not suspend, restrict or take enforcement action against a user’s account or content based solely on discretionary content moderation or ordinary third-party complaints.
CONNEXT may restrict access to an account or content, preserve information, or take other action where this is required by a valid official request from a government, police or other competent public authority and the action is permitted or required by applicable law.
Any action should be limited to what the official request and applicable law require.
This section does not apply to:
- expiry of a prepaid service period;
- deletion initiated by the user;
- temporary service-wide technical or maintenance measures; or
- other action that mandatory law requires CONNEXT to take.
19. Expiry of your service
When your paid service period expires, your account enters a one-month read-only grace period.
During this grace period:
- your existing data remains available for access and retrieval;
- you may export data;
- functions that add or modify account content may be restricted; and
- you may apply a new coupon to renew the service.
You should use this period to renew the account or make sure that you have downloaded anything you want to keep.
Renewal during the grace period
If you apply a valid new coupon during the one-month grace period, full service access is restored automatically.
Your account data remains available and the new storage and validity conditions take effect according to the extension rules described above.
Deletion after the grace period
If the account is not renewed before the one-month grace period ends, the account and user data are scheduled for deletion immediately after the grace period.
Once deleted, the data cannot be restored from a provider backup because no such backups are maintained.
You are responsible for exporting and backing up your data before deletion.
20. Lost, damaged and used coupons
Keep coupons secure.
Subject to any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded:
- lost coupons are not replaced;
- damaged coupons are not replaced;
- coupons that have already been redeemed cannot be reused or replaced; and
- CONNEXT does not provide a refund for a lost, damaged or already-used coupon.
Any separate rights you may have against the retailer under mandatory consumer law remain unaffected.
21. Intellectual property in the service
The myownsecure.space service, website, branding, interfaces, service materials and related intellectual property belong to CONNEXT or its relevant licensors.
These Terms give you a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose during your valid service period.
They do not transfer ownership of the service, its branding or its intellectual property to you.
Your own user content remains yours as described in Section 12.
22. Changes to the service
CONNEXT may update or modify the service where reasonably necessary, including for:
- security;
- technical maintenance;
- compatibility;
- performance;
- legal or regulatory requirements; or
- development of service functionality.
Changes will not remove mandatory consumer rights.
Where applicable law requires advance information, a valid reason, continued conformity, or a right to terminate following a material modification of a digital service, CONNEXT will apply those requirements. EU digital-service consumer rules regulate certain modifications to continuously supplied digital services.
23. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by mandatory law.
Subject to that rule, CONNEXT is not responsible for loss caused by:
- your failure to maintain an independent backup;
- deletion carried out by you;
- loss or disclosure of your credentials;
- loss of a coupon;
- unauthorized access resulting from credentials or sharing links that you disclose;
- use of the service contrary to these Terms or applicable law;
- incompatible third-party devices, networks or software outside CONNEXT’s control; or
- events outside CONNEXT’s reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CONNEXT does not accept contractual liability for indirect or consequential losses or for loss or deletion of user data.
Any exclusion or limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent legally permitted and does not reduce rights or remedies that mandatory consumer law gives you.
24. Consumer rights
These Terms do not remove any statutory rights that apply to you as a consumer.
EU rules establish mandatory protections concerning contracts for digital content and digital services, including conformity requirements and remedies where qualifying digital services are not properly supplied.
Where national consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights continue to apply even if these Terms say otherwise.
25. Changes to these Terms
CONNEXT may update these Terms when reasonably necessary, for example because of:
- changes to the service;
- legal or regulatory requirements;
- security or operational changes; or
- the need to make the Terms clearer.
The latest version will be published on the myownsecure.space website.
Where a change materially affects existing users and applicable law requires additional notice, CONNEXT may also provide an in-service notice or send a notice to the optional email address associated with the account.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued.
26. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria.
For consumers, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections that may apply under the law of the EU Member State in which you habitually reside where those protections cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent legally permitted, disputes are subject to the competent courts of Bulgaria. However, mandatory consumer-jurisdiction rules remain applicable, including rules that may allow a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts of the Member State where the consumer is domiciled.
EU conflict-of-law and jurisdiction rules specifically protect consumers in cross-border consumer contracts.
27. Language
The original and prevailing version of these Terms is English.
Translations may be provided in Spanish, French, Italian or other languages for convenience.
If there is a difference between a translation and the English version, the English version prevails to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Any mandatory national-language or consumer-transparency requirements remain unaffected.
